Using the Report Designer

Using the Report Designer

The Report Designer allows you to customize any of the reports in PetLinx.

To open the Report Designer and start customizing a standard report (i.e. the version of the report that is supplied in PetLinx), see the Reports Setup help topic for information on editing a report. The Report Designer can also be opened from the PetLinx Bar to make changes to existing custom reports. You can change fonts and colors, move or delete report fields, and add new fields by dragging a field from the “Field List” window onto the report.

When you have finished your report, be sure to save it by clicking the Save As button in the Report Designer ribbon.

We have a video available at our PetLinx YouTube channel which demonstrates how to use the Report Designer to make a custom report.
