Defining the Standard Rates

The Standard Rates are the base rates you charge for a single pet in a booking (note you can override these rates within each booking). Once these rates are defined you can add discounts to automatically handle bookings with multiple pets.

Follow these steps to define the standard rates:
  1. Open the Daycare Rates form if it is not already open.
  2. Daycare charges are calculated based on the type of daycare session you choose for a booking and are shown under the “Standard Rates” section. The grid will show the session types that have been previously defined, you can edit these in the Services form by clicking the Edit Session Types button.
  3. For each session type shown in the grid, enter the rate to charge in the “Rate” column. You can also set the number of credits deducted by each session type when used in a prepaid credit (for those prepaid credits that can be used by any session type).
  4. When finished, save the standard charges.
